CMULHS Olympics

CMULHS Palaro is one of the most awaited event in the school. Who wouldn't be excited when its all about sports and games. We just have to apply Michael Jordan's quote:

"Just play. Have fun. Enjoy the game."

      Started with a parade that includes 3 teams. Pheurozanion Assassins, Cryptoradius Crusaders, along with my team, Diverniumite Archers. Everyone's cheering. You know that having hoarse voice symbolizes that you were one of the supporters that gave spirit to the players.

              I played futsal. Here are my teammates. Well, some are mia. We played 4 games in just one day. But unfortunately, we didn't made it to championship. Looking at the brighter side, we did our best, I have this amazing teammates, and we became a motivation for other athletes to do their best. Maybe its just not our time to hold the title. As what Vince Lombardi said, "We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time." Anyways, everyone did a great job. I was just a little bit bothered about some of my teammates who weren't able to play. But there's always a next time. What's important is we learned from it and we enjoyed our company. My favorite part of the game was the opportunity for us to play. Kudos! We may not able to have those gold medals, atleast we have the ube nga biko, gatorade and pizza sponsored by our very own Ms. Palaro. Pemmy and Bonzee. Yehey!

        This was a picture of our Team Basketball Women praying after they were declared as Champions. Because aside from the values you have as an athlete, the most important weapon you should have in every battle is FAITH in God and whatever the result is, you'll be happy and contented. P.S. Pwede na pang Ms. Palaro. Nyehe.

             This is our Trophy. Overall, we won as 1st Runner up. :) Well awards are not the only markers of success; memories and memoirs too. Everyone of us are champions, facing our own battle and doing our best. We all deserve an award.
